Clarinex/Claramax Information
Clarinex/Claramax (Desloratadine) is indicated for the 24 hour relief from the symptoms of hayfever and seasonal allergic rhinitis without causing drowsiness. One tablet daily provides relief from:
sneezing.
- sneezing
- runny and itchy nose
- congestion and stuffiness
- watery, itchy eyes
- itching of palate and coughing
Intended Use:
Clarinex/Claramax (Desloratadine) can be used throughout the hayfever season to treat the common symptoms of hayfever such as sneezing, runny and itchy nose. congestion and stuffiness, watery, itchy eyes, itching of palate and coughing.
Dosage:
Adults and Children 12 years & over: take 1 tablet daily. If condition persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Active Ingredient:
Desloratadine 5mg.
Precautions & Contraindications:
Do not use Clarinex / Claramax (Desloratadine) if you are allergic to it or any of the ingredients listed above, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not suitable for children less than 2 years old, or if you have liver disease or eye problems (such as high pressure in the eye or glaucoma), sugar diabetes, prostate enlargement, or problems with your liver, kidney or bladder.
Special Precautions:
While you are using Clarinex / Claramax (Desloratadine) you should inform all Doctors, Dentists or Pharmacists who are treating you, and inform them if you become pregnant whilst using Clarinex / Claramax (Desloratadine). It is unlikely to make you drowsy, however you should not drive or use machinery the first time you use it. You should stop using it 48 hours before you have any skin tests.
