Flonase/Flixonase Information

Flixonase (Flonase) 24 hour Nasal spray gives you effective relief for all the major symptoms of hayfever. Taken once-a-day it effectively treats the following: sneezing, nasal congestion and swelling, running and/or itchy nose and irritated eyes. So you can not be bothered by troublesome hayfever symptoms when you use Flixonase (Flonase) 24 hour Nasal spray.

Intended Use:
For the short term (3-6 months) prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis including hayfever. Don't forget to start using Flixonase (Flonase) at least weeks before the time of year you normally start experiencing symptoms. This way Flixonase (Flonase) will already be protecting you when your hayfever starts.

Dosage:
For adults and children over 12yrs of age: 2 sprays into each nostril once a day.
Be sure to shake the bottle well before using this medicine.

Active Ingredient:
Fluticasone Propionate 50 mcg per spray
Each bottle contains 120 doses of the active ingredient.

Precautions & Contraindications:

  • Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
  • Do not use Flixonase 24 Hour if you have ever had an allergic reaction to fluticasone propionate.
  • If you're not sure whether you should be using Flixonase 24 Hour, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

Other Precautions with this medication before you start using Flixonase 24 Hour you must tell your pharmacist or doctor if:

  • you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • you have an infection in your nose or sinuses.
  • you have had nasal surgery.
  • you have been treated with steroid injections, taken steroid tablets, used steroid asthma or nasal inhalers and eye/nose drops.
  • you are allergic to foods, dyes, preservatives or any other medicine.
